About Us

We are a group of Enthusiasts that are devoted to the continued survival of the Endangered Big Cats of the world. ECSST was born out of necessity. ECSST is an acronym for Endangered Cat Species Survival Trust, A registered Non-Profit Organization and Trust.

We have structured a self-sustained project which could increase the wild population of Siberian Tigers by a few 100 (min of 210) before the next year of the Tiger (2022). Our project has no finalization date because of the self-sustainability factor and the fact that it’s never going to halt expansion. As time pass, we also aim to expand our breeding project to the untamed breeding of the Amur Leopard and Clouded Leopard. All these species are under immense pressure in the wild and face extinction in the near future if nothing drastic is done.

Our team consists out of three pivotal people, including myself. We have a range of numerous close partners, consisting of private entities and enterprises.

The entire team has their individual expertise, ranging from veterinarians with ± 25 years’ experience each, a game capture crew with ± 20 years’ experience in relocation, monitoring, tracking and rehabilitation of wild animals, {lions, white lions, Bengal Tiger (Panthera tigris tigris) etc.}, research and rehabilitation specialists, Zoology & Microbiology experts, DNA analysts, import/export managers along with game farmers.

The project is going to focus on a number of endangered cat species; these include the Siberian Tiger, Amur Leopard, and Clouded Leopard etc.

Endangered Cat Species Survival Trust is only funded by donations, contributions and sponsors.
